Petros Haffenrichter

Petros Haffenrichter, Petros, mostly lives in Munich, Germany, co-manages three Yoga Schools, is a devoted Bhakta and Musician. He is a regular guest teacher in yoga-schools around the world, at international conferences and festivals. He teaches Yoga-Workshops on Asana, Pranayama, Nadam and Philosophy, plays Kirtan-Concerts and hosts Yoga-Retreats. His students say, they feel inspired by the joyful and both, authentically deep and light teachings, brought across with a big heart and. Summers he spends mainly in his yoga-retreat „Kretashala“ located at the southwest-coast on the island of Crete. Born into a family of artists and musicians he is a dedicated life long student of arts and music and plays a variety of instruments. He performed in countless concerts and festivals and has published several albums, amongst the most recent „Embrace“ in 2009, „Narayana“ in 2012, „Kali“ in 2013 and „Shiva Shavasana“ in 2015.

Starting at the age of 5, Vish has spent his life leading Kirtans in the ISKCON (Vaisnava) tradition. He is a multi-instrumentalist, and a master of the Mridanga drum and performs in traditional as well as fusion styles. Vish started performing in the modern yoga studio culture 2009, and since then he has performed at countless studio gatherings and well known spiritual venues like BhaktiFest and Omega Institute. Vish is the lead singer of the internationally acclaimed group ‘The Mayapuris’, a headlining Kirtan group that has rocked stages from India to Florida, Australia to South Africa. He also sings and plays percussion with ‚The Hanumen‘. In addition to being a master percussionist, Vish also sings, and plays harmonium and bansuri flute. Vish is an in-demand sideman as well, and has toured with Kirtan pioneer Jai Uttal. Vish has not only mastered his art but has a rare capacity to invoke the ‘rasa’ of the essence do the transcendental energies that define the Kirtan path.
